Men’s Raf Black B3 Sheepskin Jacket
Even in the worst weather, the Cockpit B-3 Sheepskin Bomber Jacket in all black will keep you warm. The B-3 black shearling jacket was first used by the Army Air Force in 1934 to keep bomber pilots warm in unpressurized cabins at heights beyond 30,000 feet, where the temperature was far below freezing.
Shearling (shearling) pelts are hand-selected for consistency and then twice sewed together: once with a loop stitch and then with a leather “tape” to create the windowpane impression.
