He appears from an Earth where, following Batman’s murder of the Joker, he is transformed into a twisted hybrid of Batman and the Joker. Then, The Batman Who Laughs assists Barbatos with his assignment. Afterwards, he and Perpetua collaborate to destroy the Multiverse.
